Peter Wilke is a London-based cinematographer with more than 30 years of experience in the film industry, including more than 20 years as an A-camera operator working with award winning Directors such as Bob Zemeckis, Chris Columbus and Simon Curtis. As a Cinematographer he has received multiple award nominations and wins for his work, showcasing a unique aesthetic shaped by previous collaboration with renowned Directors of Photography like Don Burgess and Mandy Walker. Peter’s “Story First” philosophy to cinematography emphases narrative, making him a valuable ally for directors. Whatever the genre, whatever the story, Peter’s goal is to help the director tell their story in the most efficient, beautifully photographed way possible. His extensive knowledge of editing, both traditional and cutting-edge technology, combined with excellent leadership qualities make him an asset to directors, producers and production teams of any budget. Comfortable in both indie films and studio environments, Peter has photographed three feature films since 2019 and recently completed ‘Knuckles’ a limited series for Paramount+ set in the ‘Sonic the Hedgehog Universe.’
